How Can I Bridge to Metal L2 (Deposit)?

This support guide will help you learn about bridging to Metal L2.
 

Getting Started

• First, ensure your compatible wallet has the Metal L2 network added. You can do this in two ways:
  • Manually add a Custom Network
  • Use the "Add Network" button on the Metal L2 homepage 
  • Compatible wallets include Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and Metamask.
• Make sure you have enough ETH to cover gas fees for the transfer from Ethereum L1 to Metal L2. Ethereum network fees can vary, so be sure to double-check the amount shown on the Metal L2 Bridge.
• Currently, Metal L2 supports bridging of ETH, USDC, and MTL.
   

Detailed Steps

1. Connect your wallet on the Metal L2 Bridge
   
2. Click the "Deposit" button
3. From the dropdown selector, choose the crypto asset you want to bridge from Ethereum L1 to Metal L2.
4. Enter the amount you'd like to bridge to Metal L2.
5. Review the details and sign the transaction with your connected wallet to start the bridging process.
6. The bridging process from Ethereum L1 to Metal L2 depends on Ethereum network traffic, usually taking 5-10 minutes, but it may take up to 1 hour during busy times.
7. Great job! You've successfully bridged assets from Ethereum L1 to Metal L2.
